2010 New Vision 5K Run and Walk

Join us for our 2nd Annual 5K Run and 4th Annual Walk to benefit the programs offered by New Vision for children from birth to school age and adults who are visually impaired or blind.

Schedule of Events

7:00 am    Registration for 5K Run/Walk around Silver Lake   

8:00 am    5K Run/Walk begins

8:30 am    Registration for 1/2 mile Walk around track

8:30 am - 11:30 am     Low Vision Expo in Magnolia Room   

9:15 or as soon as all Runners/Walkers are in  -  Awarding of trophies/ribbons   

9:30 am    1/2 mile Walk begins

Registration Costs:   

5k Run/Walk or 1/2 Mile Walk

- Register by September 30th - $20

- Register by October 29th - $25

- Register day of event - $30

Volunteers are needed to be on the planning committee and to work on the day of the events.  If you are interested, call 352-435-5040.

Sponsors to help offset the cost of running the event

Donations of prizes for participants

Donations of prizes/gift certificates for attendees   

Donations of food and water for the event participants

and most of all Runners and Walkers to participate!
